I'm Case Laviolette.
I run Kellibrooke.
One broker. One phone number. Every file handled personally from the first conversation to the closing table.

Kellibrooke has been around for decades. My mother, Leighann Laviolette (NMLS #268179), built and ran it long before I took it over, then shelved it for twenty years. I reopened it in 2020 under the same name and the same legal entity. She remains licensed and sponsored at Kellibrooke but is no longer actively writing loans. I handle every file.
Reading tax returns line by line. Reading lender guidelines the way underwriters read them. Structuring files so they don't fall apart in review. Negotiating with lenders when they push back. That's why I don't hand your file to a processor. I am the processor. I built the loan, I know every page in it, and I can defend every number in it when it matters.
When you call Kellibrooke, you get me. Not a receptionist, not a junior associate, not an automated system. I take the application, I build the file, I talk to the underwriter, I manage the timeline, and I get your file to the closing table knowing every detail because I touched every piece of it. Something goes sideways at 9pm on a Thursday, I'm the one who picks up.
The files I built this business on are the ones other lenders won't touch. Self-employed borrowers whose tax returns don't tell the real story. Investors structuring DSCR loans across multiple properties. 1099 contractors with five income streams and no W-2. Bank-statement, asset-depletion, and complex-income files that need a real guideline read. Those files take skill. That's why Kellibrooke exists.
No broker processing fees, no surprise broker charges. My compensation is disclosed up front, usually lender-paid, with borrower-paid compensation compared when the side-by-side total-cost analysis makes sense for the borrower. I walk every client through it before they commit. It changes the math on whether a broker makes sense.
I traded futures for two proprietary firms, paid from my P&L. The chart that priced those trades is the same one that actually prices your mortgage today. I still read it. When it moves in your favor, I call.
Hear from my clients.
Real people, real closings. In their own words.
Quotes reflect the experiences of these specific clients and partners. Every situation is evaluated on its own merits.
How I work differently.
Other lenders quote you one thing and close on another. I don't do that.
One person, start to finish.
No hand-off to a processor you've never met. No "your loan officer is unavailable." I handle your file personally from pre-approval to clear-to-close, and I answer my phone.
I shop your loan for you.
A bank gives you its own structure. That's it. I submit your profile across my lender network and bring back lender options. Different lenders price different files differently. That's the whole point of using a broker.
No hidden broker fees.
My compensation is always disclosed up front. No broker processing fees, no admin fees, and no surprise broker line items on your closing disclosure that were not on your original estimate.
I'll tell you the truth.
If your bank's offer is already strong, I'll say so. If your credit needs six more months of work before you should apply, I'll say that too. I'd rather lose a deal today and earn your trust for the next ten years.
Austin and everywhere else in Texas.
Kellibrooke is based in Austin and most of my business comes from the metro. Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Kyle, Buda, Dripping Springs, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Bastrop, and everywhere in between. But I'm licensed across all of Texas, so if you're buying in San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, or anywhere else in the state, I can handle it. Same service, same phone number, same person. If you want to model the math before we talk, start with my Texas mortgage calculators.
Got a scenario? Send it over.
Call me, text me, or email me what you're working with. I'll tell you where you stand and what your options look like. No application required. No credit pull. Just a straight answer from someone who does this every day.
